Available laboratory packages
Insulin resistance and PCO packages
Insulin resistance is a condition that, with proper treatment, can be reversed. However, if left untreated, it may lead to diabetes in the future. The risk is higher if there is a family history of carbohydrate metabolism disorders or if you have previously been diagnosed with gestational diabetes.
Men's health packages
Our men’s health package provides a comprehensive overview of your health. The test results can help identify potential prostate conditions and other urinary tract issues.
Family planning package – Hormone testing on cycle days 3–5
Most of the hormone tests in this package depend on the menstrual cycle. Therefore, it is advisable to consult your gynecologist about the timing of the sample collection. Unless otherwise instructed by your physician, we recommend performing this panel at the beginning of the menstrual cycle (days 3–5).
Family planning package – Hormone testing in the second half of the cycle
Most of the hormone tests in this package depend on the menstrual cycle. Therefore, it is advisable to consult your gynecologist about the timing of the sample collection.
Unless otherwise instructed by your physician, we recommend performing this panel in the second half of the menstrual cycle, on day 7 after ovulation.
Prolactin levels should be tested in the second half of the cycle based on the FEMM protocol.
Pre-operative assessment package
Pre-operative laboratory tests are performed to evaluate the patient’s general health and identify any potential risks. This information helps the anesthesiologist choose the most appropriate anesthesia for the surgery and allows for the identification of factors that could potentially cause complications.

Bile acid level testing
Itching during pregnancy may indicate an elevation in bile acid levels. Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy is usually just an unpleasant condition for the mother but may pose risks to the fetus. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment are essential to avoid harm to the baby.
Ovarian tumor marker testing
This test is primarily recommended for female patients whose physician has identified an uncertain ovarian mass and has ordered further investigation.
In general, tumor marker tests (with few exceptions) are not suitable for screening healthy, asymptomatic individuals for cancer. Instead, they are primarily used to monitor the progression or recurrence of a suspected condition.
Pregnancy package: Hepatitis and Syphilis testing
During pregnancy, hepatitis and syphilis testing are mandatory screening tests. These are performed via blood sampling for all expectant mothers.
Pregnancy package - First trimester
This package is recommended for women in the first trimester of pregnancy.
It includes the tests recommended in Hungary during prenatal care, specifically tailored to the first trimester.
Pregnancy package - Second trimester
This package is recommended for women in the second trimester of pregnancy.
It includes the tests recommended in Hungary during prenatal care, specifically tailored to the second trimester.
Pregnancy package - Third trimester
This package is recommended for women in the third trimester of pregnancy.
It includes the tests recommended in Hungary during prenatal care, specifically tailored to the third trimester.
Thrombosis panel
This package helps identify congenital blood clotting disorders. Such disorders increase the risk of blood clots (thrombosis), which may travel through the bloodstream and cause embolisms. The package includes tests for mutations in clotting factors involved in the coagulation process.
Blood group typing and antibody screening
In our laboratory, for every blood sample sent for blood group testing, we perform both ABO and Rh(D) typing, as well as antibody screening. For expectant mothers, this test is typically repeated two to three times during pregnancy, as new antibodies may develop over the course of pregnancy.
